Kids: Do You Have a Picky Eater?

When your child starts to act out of what you feel is ordinary, things can get out of hand quickly.  It is very easy for a medical cascade of events to take place which can easily end in a powerful prescription drug (for weeks, months, years, or sometimes life!) But if you are able to keep your head, think rationally, ask the right questions, use the right information, you can generally resolve many problems that arise with your children pretty easily.

For example, what do you do with picky eaters? This can really become an issue especially when you are out to dinner or visiting friends.  Lots of these kids will only eat one or two different foods. There are even some who will not eat at the same table with the family if it's something they do not like.  They often complain that the food smells bad or tastes weird.  Truthfully, for a lot of these kids food does indeed smell or taste off to them.  The problem is that their smell or taste or both are out of sync.  For instance, a sweet banana will taste sour to them or when the smell of cooking garlic will totally ruin the whole meal for them.  Or when they do not taste food much at all because they cannot smell it.  These kids are indeed picky eaters with a mild ZINC DEFICIENCY!  When these children are given CHEZYN by Standard Process, the large numbers of smelly and yucky tasting foods are reduced to normal. (Dosage 1 tablet everyday or every other)  Always test for a zinc deficiency in a child who is a picky eater.  You will know whether this is the cause of the problem in two weeks.  We here at Somerset Hills Chiropractic can test your child to see if they are deficient in zinc in about 30 seconds.  Next week I will be talking about KIDS: Is your child a worrier? Stay tuned.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Please seek the advice of a licensed medical professional before starting any of the above treatments.
