How is your emotional health? Do you struggle with the everyday challenges of life? Do you struggle with the everyday challenges of this world?
We all do at some point but you cannot have prolonged emotional stress without it having adverse effects on your health. Here are our suggestions to get and keep you on track so you enjoy everyday.
- Turn off the television. Unless you are watching an educational program and can ignore the commercials, don’t even turn it on. We wish there was a program on GOOD news.
- Surround yourself with people that radiate optimism. People feed off each other. If you surround yourself with happy, energized friends you will learn to ignore all the negativity that happens in the world.
- Exercise! When we exercise we release hormones in our brains that are far superior then antidepressant medication. If you don’t know where to start, ask one of your chiropractors. If you don’t think you have time, you sleep too much. If you don’t think it’s worth it, look at a 60 year old male that has never spent time in a gym. I think this will convince you of the value of regular exercise.
- Get adjusted. Every time you get adjusted you stimulate your nervous system. Your nervous system controls everything in your body. Remember, we never ask a patient to do what we are unwilling to do ourselves. If you see your chiropractors are happy, energized, and optimistic it’s because we practice what we preach.
You will most likely live to 100. Enjoy the day, the moment, and feel great.
